As you can see you were scooted over to this blog address (http://www.drwinn.com) where I have moved my blog. I am still working on retrieving the comments from the old address.
It's been a while since I blogged. Since the last time (Jan. 10, 2005) lots has happened. I was back in the hospital again for another stint in February. I am more bionic now than then. This was #5. I am doing okay.
In addition to the MD care, I am also taking a natural formula of detoxification that Debbie Hunter told me about. I've been on it for about a week now.
Donna's dad was diagnosed last Saturday (Feb. 19) as having Bone Marrow Failure. He was entered into Hospice care the same day. Donna has been with her mom and dad since Thursday Feb. 17. She is emotionally and physically exhausted. She comes home tomorrow (Saturday). The nurse says it is only a matter of days till he slips beyone this realm. He is 92 years old. So you might pray for her if you desire to.
Donna and I participate with Vineyard Community Church in Shoreline, WA where Rich and Rose Swetman are co-pastors. Check out Rose's Blog. We started a biblical training school for them that is one year in length with eight courses. I teach six Bible courses and Rich and Rose are teaching two courses: one on Spiritual Disciplines, the other on Being Missional. Each course is a combination of a live seminar and online discussion. You can take a peak at a sample course here. Just click on Sample Course when you arrive (user name and password are provided). It is a fair look at how the online stuff works. We have finished one course in the Old Testament which included a weekend live seminar, online discussion, and a live online chat. There are 28 students signed up for the year cohort.
The DMin program that I am in at George Fox University is moving right along. We are in the 4th of four modules with a summer course and the final thesis to write for completion.
